On October 4th: We welcomed Fr. Fred Thayer and his wife Anne.
Fr. Fred will be serving as our priest for as yet an undetermined time. He retired from St. Bart’s in Poway 2 years ago. He is looking for something different in his life, and we could be it!
Other news:
We had our last service from FR. Wes Hills on Sept. 27th and gave him our best wishes as he begins his new ministry in Pauma Valley. We certainly appreciate all that he and Terri did for us.
We had a very successful Vacation Bible School with Fr. Wes and Terri leading the fun and learning. Many thanks to Jenna and Heather from Sts. Peter and Paul in El Centro and everyone else who helped.
We thank all of you for your ongoing prayerful and financial support to keep our ministry active here at All Saints. Please realize that we do notice all the little things that are done, brought and said that keep All Saints alive and well.
This Sunday October 8th, we will have a Rededication of All Saints, at 11 am. Over the Summer the inside of the Church was painted, everything was cleaned and spruced up.
Sunday, October 16th, 11 am, we will have a blessing of the animals, bring your dogs, cats, birds, sheep, horses to be blessed.
